Skål International Lima makes donation of blankets and carries out community activities in San Juan de Miraflores
Skål International Lima carried out a significant visit to the Santa Maria Reina Parish, located in El Paraiso, San Juan de Miraflores.
During this visit, a donation of blankets was made for the children and people in need in the region.
Ian Gillespie, Vice President of Skål International Lima, and Aldo Rojas, Administrator of the organization, shared special moments with Father Pedro, assistant Wilner and teacher Mariela. Together, they visited the Parish and the three chapels in the area: Santísima Cruz, Virgen de las Nieves and Virgen del Carmen.
During the visit, Gillespie and Rojas participated in various activities with the children of the community, who meet every Saturday to learn the Bible in preparation for their first communion. In addition, the children receive support in their reading and math studies, and enjoy recreational activities such as dancing and music.
The solidarity of Skål International Lima with the work of Father Albino and his extraordinary team in El Paraíso is a clear example of the organization's commitment to improving the quality of life in this human settlement in the south of Lima. The tireless work of Father Albino and his team has been fundamental in providing support and hope to this community.
Skål International Lima is proud to contribute to this noble cause and reaffirms its commitment to the welfare and development of the neediest communities.
