We are thrilled to share the wonderful news of the twinning of Skål International Frankfurt and Skål International Kampala, which took place at the prestigious IMEX Frankfurt, on May 16, 2024.

This momentous event marked a significant milestone in fostering international friendship, collaboration, and the spirit of Skål International.

The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including the Skål International Frankfurt President, Mr. Hans Jürgen Thien; the Skål International Germany President, Johannes Jungwirth; and the German Director of the Skål International Executive Board, Toni Ritter; who emphasized the importance of global unity and cooperation within the travel and tourism industry. Their inspiring words set the tone for a memorable and joyous occasion.

In attendance were the dedicated members of the Skål International Frankfurt Committee and Skål International Kampala Committee, who have worked tirelessly to bring this twinning to fruition. Their commitment to enhancing international relations and promoting the values of Skål International is truly commendable.

We were honored to have the Skål International Kampala Past President among us, whose legacy and continued support for Skål International initiatives have been instrumental in the growth and success of the Club. His presence added a special significance to the event.

The Ugandan Tour and Travel Operators also played a crucial role in this celebration. Their participation highlighted the rich cultural exchange and the strengthening of business ties between our two vibrant cities. Their enthusiasm and warmth were felt by all attendees, showcasing the true essence of Skål International camaraderie.

The twinning ceremony was not only a formal event but also a celebration of friendship and shared goals.
