1. GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR THE USE OF THE WEBSITE AND ITS ACCEPTANCE
This notice (hereinafter the "Legal Notice") regulates the access and use of the website that Skål International (hereinafter the "ASSOCIATION") makes available to you.
The use of the website attributes the condition of user of the website (hereinafter, the "User") and implies full and unreserved acceptance of each and every one of the provisions included in this Legal Notice in the version published by THE ASSOCIATION at the time the User accesses the Website. THE ASSOCIATION reserves the right to unilaterally modify, at any time and without prior notice, the presentation and configuration of the contents and services of the Web, as well as the conditions required for its use when it is convenient for its better provision.
The content of this website is protected by intellectual property laws.
Said contents must be used correctly and lawfully by the user and, in particular, the user is obliged to use said contents diligently, correctly and lawfully.
The contents may not be used in a manner contrary to the law, morality or good customs accepted in public order.
The reproduction, copying, distribution, transformation or modification of the contents (texts, images, voices or structure) is prohibited unless the express, written authorisation of the holder of the acquired rights has been obtained.
2. PURPOSE
Through the website, THE ASSOCIATION provides Users and Members with information on various services and contents made available by THE ASSOCIATION.
3. CONDITIONS OF ACCESS AND USE OF THE WEBSITE
3.1. Free access and use of the website
The use of the website is free of charge. Notwithstanding the foregoing, some of the Services provided by THE ASSOCIATION through the website are subject to payment as determined in the corresponding contracts.
3.2. Veracity of the information
All information provided by the user through the website must be true. To this end, the user guarantees the authenticity of all data communicated as a result of filling in the information request forms. Likewise, the information provided to THE ASSOCIATION must be kept up-to-date. In any case, the user shall be solely responsible for any false or inaccurate statements made and for any damages caused to THE ASSOCIATION or to third parties by the information provided.
3.3. Obligation to make correct use of the Website
The user agrees to use the Web in accordance with the law, this Legal Notice, and other notices, regulations of use and instructions brought to their attention, as well as with moral and generally accepted principles of public order.
To this end, the user shall refrain from using the website for illicit purposes or effects, prohibited in this Legal Notice, harmful to the rights and interests of third parties, or that in any way may damage, disable, overload, deteriorate or impede the normal use of the website the computer equipment, documents, files and any content stored on any computer of THE ASSOCIATION, or any internet user (hardware and software).

All trademarks, trade names or logos of any kind that appear on the website are the property of THE ASSOCIATION or third parties and it may not be construed that the use of or access to the website and/or services of the members’ area gives the user any rights over such trademarks, trade names and/or logos.
Likewise, the Contents are the intellectual property of THE ASSOCIATION or of third parties and none of the exploitation rights that exist or may exist over said Contents beyond what is strictly necessary for the correct use of the website may be understood to have been ceded to the user, by virtue of what is established in this Legal Notice.
The Skål International trademark is registered and ownership of the Asociación Internacional de Skål Clubes-AISC-Skål International.
6. LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES
The user of the website will be responsible for any Damages that THE ASSOCIATION may suffer directly or indirectly, as a consequence of the non-compliance with any of the obligations established in this Legal Notice.
7. LINK TO THIRD PARTIES
In the event that this website includes links to third party websites, the User will be governed by the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of the new website, accepting that THE ASSOCIATION will not be responsible or have any legal obligation for the use of such sites. However, should the ASSOCIATION have any knowledge of the illegality of the contents included in said links to third party websites, it will immediately remove the links and notify the competent authorities of this circumstance.
8. SECURITY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
THE ASSOCIATION has implemented and maintains the highest levels of security to protect the User's personal data from accidental loss and unauthorised access, processing or disclosure, taking into account the state of technology, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed.
A primary objective of THE ASSOCIATION is that the protocols and security systems implemented allow the proper functioning of the website, its functionalities and services, preserving the integrity of the data and information stored. The services are provided with the website's own technological resources and sometimes by third parties who have the necessary security measures to ensure the impossibility of unauthorised access according to current, ordinary techniques and technology.
The transmission of information over the internet is not, however, always totally secure and although THE ASSOCIATION makes its best efforts to protect the User's data, it cannot guarantee its total security during transit to the website. Once the User's data has been received, THE ASSOCIATION will use rigorous security procedures and functions to prevent any unauthorised access, although it cannot guarantee the absolute invulnerability of its security systems.
Exclusion of Liability
THE ASSOCIATION disclaims all liability arising from:
- Interruptions in the normal operation of the website arising from force majeure as well as causes not attributable to THE ASSOCIATION and that cause the web service to not fully or partially operational. When reasonably possible, THE ASSOCIATION shall give prior notice of any interruptions in the operation of the website.
- The unauthorised use by third parties of the Member’s username and password due to the lack of diligence on the part of the same.
- The use of incorrect or false data by the User, including any errors that may have been committed at the time of registration and those arising from the non-updating of data by the User.
Duty of collaboration with the Competent Authorities
In the event that a judicial authority informs THE ASSOCIATION or the ASSOCIATION has effective knowledge of the existence of illegal information contained on the website or that damages the property or rights of a third party liable for compensation, THE ASSOCIATION will collaborate with the competent bodies to identify the persons responsible for having published the illegal information, and in any case, will proceed to withdraw such information or make access to it impossible.

THE ASSOCIATION has an established, privacy policy regarding personal data, which is collected, treated or maintained and which is clearly defined in the “privacy policy”.
10. DURATION
THE ASSOCIATION may interrupt the service of the web, however, it is authorised to terminate or suspend the provision of services at any time. When reasonably possible, THE ASSOCIATION will give prior notice of the termination or suspension of the provision of web services.
11. JURISDICTION
The parties, expressly renouncing their own jurisdiction, accept Spanish law as the governing law and will submit any disputes arising therefrom to the Courts and Tribunals of Malaga for resolution.
