The Twinning Ceremony between the Clubs of Skål International Panamá and Skål International Istanbul was held in Panama on December 28, 2023, during an elegant lunch meeting at the JW Marriott Panama.

Demetrio Maduro, recently elected President for a third straight year of Skål International Panamá, and Past-President of Skål International (2008), Hulya Aslantas representing Skål International Istanbul, signed the official documents and exchanged the traditional Club banners as well as special cultural gifts from their respective countries.

Hulya Aslantas and her husband, Cem Aslantas, visited the highlights of Panama and were also graciously hosted by Annette Cardenas, the Skål International President 2024, in her homeland, the isthmus that connects the Americas.

Now, the Skålleagues of Panama are looking forward to a trip later this year to visit their new Skål International family in Istanbul, as well as attend the Skål International World Congress 2024 in Izmir.
